The toilet, sink and cabinet were replaced with new fixtures. Once removed, the caulking and glue on the floor under the fixtures had to be scrapped off. The wall behind the sink had marks caused by the previously cabinet. Wall board with trim was attached to the wall behind the sink and toilet to give a fresh, clean look. The new pedestal sink opens up the small bathroom.
The old wood window was replaced with a vinyl storm window.
Luckily, the ceramic flooring only needed cleaning. The wall paper had a couple holes where towel racks were previously installed. The holes were filled in and the wall paper painted. We shopped around for brass faucets, handles, and light switch covers for the bathroom.
The old medicine cabinet above the sink was a standard type built into the wall. A mirror framing kit was purchased from Lowe's and glued to the medicine cabinet mirror frame. Angling the frame at the bottom added a little more character.
The mirror storage cabinet above the toilet was removed, painted, and reattached to the wall.
